Box Turtles
The box turtle can commonly live up to twenty years, with verified cases of life spans as long as 40 or 50 years. There have been unverified cases of box turtles living as long as one hundred years and more. |
Leopard Tortoise 
A very long-lived animal, the leopard tortoise is seldom sexually mature until it is between the ages of 12 and 15 years. Captive leopard tortoises, however, grow faster and may mature as young as six years of age. |
Red Eared Sliders 
It prefers quiet areas with a basking area, such a large flat rock or a floating log, in full sunlight. It is common for RES to bask together and even on top of each other. |
Russian Tortoise
Russian tortoises are a small tortoise species, ranging from about 15 to 25 cm (6-10 inches). Coloration varies, but the shell is usually a ruddy brown or black, fading to yellow between the scutes, and the body itself straw-yellow and brown. |
